I'm finally back in the saddle, so to speak. I took a month off from the site (month away from writing, not drinking) and now I am back ready to go. First up: Napa Creek's 2007 Napa Valley merlot.
I'm not a huge fan of all Napa Creek's wines, but you kind of expect that from a Bronco Wine Company winery. These are the same folks that bring you Two Buck Chuck. But I do really enjoy this merlot.
The nose is full of fruit, and the flavors range from cherry and blueberry with a hint of plum.
This is actually a very easy drinking wine and I think it tastes great. It's perfect for dinner.
I picked it up at Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa for $7.29. A great deal.
Enjoy!
